PRINCIPLES IN ACTION

I wanted Wealth is a Choice to inspire ideas of new financial habits, but to also be interactive. At the end of each chapter Principle I included Principles in Action, so that readers can put their newfound ideas to immediate use. Principles in Action are tangible exercises you can implement directly into your financial planning, moving you futher towards increasing wealth.

As with most everything in life, the sooner you empower thoughts into action, the more likely you are to succeed. So please use these Principles in Action as you read through Wealth is a Choice. Good Asset Net Worth Statement

In my book Wealth is a Choice I listed all kinds of assets and described them as either good or bad assets. It doesn't mean that every asset was good or bad, but that at least the true intention (conscious or otherwise) was. If you want to become wealthy, the solution is very clear, you have to buy things that have the ability to produce future income. Therefore, everything you own is either Good (helping you increase income) or Bad (taking away from your wealth).

Peek into Other Net Worth Statements from Principles 12 & 13

People always ask me, "How am I doing compared to others my age?" Of course, that's pretty tough to answer as everyone's situation is unique. But it's a worthy question deserving of an honest answer.

Part of the problem with accumulating great wealth under ordinary circumstances is that we are relatively new to this. Many are only one generation away from a retiree on pension and/or social security income, and haven't seen what finances could look like when you have to accumulate your own retirement income. So in Wealth Is a Choice I included examples from a variety of ages of people that are on pace to have a nice retirement.
